About the role:
We are looking for a Credit Risk and Portfolio Manager who will be responsible for the performance and development of ESTO’s credit portfolio in Lithuania analyzing portfolio dynamics and credit risk to improve underwriting models, limits, and risk policies.This role combines credit risk, analytics, data, and strategy to support effective lending decisions and strong portfolio performance. You will play a central role in strengthening risk management practices and supporting the long-term development of ESTO’s credit operations in Lithuania.
What You’ll Do:
Credit Portfolio Management
Own and monitor the performance of ESTO’s Lithuanian credit portfolio, including approval rates, default rates, yield, and portfolio quality.
Identify risk trends and recommend improvements to underwriting policies, credit limits, and decision rules.
Credit Analytics & Risk Monitoring
Analyze portfolio performance, risk segmentation, approval rates, rejection reasons, and channel quality across merchants, partners, brokers, and marketing sources.
Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to support risk management and portfolio growth.
Data, Decisioning & Models
Identify and integrate new data sources to strengthen underwriting, credit decisioning, and data quality.
Collaborate with data science and operations teams on credit scoring models, default prediction, risk segmentation, and decisioning infrastructure.
Customer Segmentation & Governance
Optimize customer tiering frameworks and credit limits based on behavioral and portfolio analysis.
Work closely with the CEO and local management and support credit governance and risk oversight
What We Expect:
3–7+ years of experience in credit risk, lending, portfolio management, consumer finance, or a related analytical role.
Strong understanding of credit underwriting, portfolio performance metrics, risk segmentation, and lending economics.
Proven ability to analyze portfolio performance and translate insights into improvements in credit policies, limits, and decisioning strategies.
Experience working with credit scoring models, decisioning systems, data scientists, or analytics teams.
Familiarity with external credit data sources and risk modeling approaches is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across business, product, data, engineering, and local market teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
Fluency in both English and Lithuanian is a strong advantage.
