PRODUCT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Join us to support the Personal (B2C) team within the Product department. The role of this position is to act as a strategic sidekick to the Product Owner, handling operational tasks, testing, communications, and data analysis. This role reports to the Personal team Product Owner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as first line of defence with help desk tickets and feature requests - triage tickets and requests from other departments, investigate issues, filter out low-value requests that don't require PO attention, and escalate genuine problems
Product testing, monitoring and data analysis - act as an extra pair of eyes monitoring new features and daily operations, help with testing, analyze usage data and session replays to find improvements
Go-to-market communications - support product releases by coordinating with Marketing on launch communications and announcements
Minor product developments - work with engineers to deliver non-critical features and bug fixes
Operational communication with providers - handle day-to-day issues with external providers like brokers, manage reporting, troubleshooting, and establish procedures
Reporting and data gathering - compile data for regular reports and ad-hoc requests from other departments, especially recurring reporting needs
Redundancy - act as backup when the Product Owner is out of office
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 1-3 years in business analysis, project management, or product operations roles; experience in fintech/payments is a strong plus
Analytical mindset: comfortable working with data, identifying patterns, and making data-informed recommendations
Communication and documentation: clear specifications and stakeholder updates in English
Problem-solving ability: high attention to detail with logical troubleshooting approach
Technical fluency (no coding required): able to understand technical concepts, work with engineers, and learn internal tools quickly
Ownership mentality: self-starter who manages multiple priorities and follows through on commitments
Nice to have: understanding of financial products (loans, credit accounts), experience with analytics tools, familiarity with agile processes (Jira, Confluence)
